Searching knowledge about the old Danish pram or baby carriage models I got in touch with an archive in Copenhagen. They sent me following photos taken at Amager a locality in Copenhagen where my father grew up in the 1920s and 1930s. They allowed me to use the photos labeling them with the name ©Foto: Sundby Lokalhistoriske Forening og Arkiv / Erik Johansen.
The pram or baby carrier factory “Itkin” had their location in the center of Copenhagen Landemærket at the time when these photos were taken. It was moved to Amager Strand in the 1950s.
Three families have donated their photos to the archive

Those prams are so substantial. Today in the US babies go right into strollers where they can later sit up. Many strollers have 3 good wheels so the mothers can jog as they stroll the baby.
