Snowdrops
Taking in snowdrops from my garden
Reminds me of my mother
She was gentle and modest
Always thinking of us and of people
Who might need a letter or a call
At her funeral stories were told of her kindness

Beautiful and so awesome words written on a mother and simply marvellous drops of pearls as buds. 👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you so much. I didn’t know if I would dare to tag it as a poem as English is not my first language but maybe I should give it a try #poetry

Yes Paula she was so lovely and often ignored but I think she knew how much we loved her. Every time I drove over to visit she gave me money for transport to her last breath

I love snowdrops but as fast As we plant the bulbs, the cats dig them up! Yours are beautiful and so is your poem. 😊
