My parents bought a table and chairs in nut tree when they got married in 1948. They kept the furniture in their home all their life and now the same pieces of furniture live on in my daughter’s house.

The wooden garden table is now in my garden. It was originally in the summer-house my parents bought as a springboard to build a villa in 1954.
