A Healthy Mixture
I am making an experiment. For the last year I have taken freshly pressed lemon juice with water ever morning to boost my immune system. I have become addicted to it and take lemon and a lemon squeezer with me every where.
Four months ago I have taken a new step and made myself a mixture of ginger, garlic, cinnamon, turmeric, honey and lemon.
I try to get everything organic and I grind it thoroughly in a blender. Because of the spices and honey it tastes all right and I swallow it down with the lemon juice.

The ingredients for the mixture
I have read that these ingredients are good for the immune system and for cleansing the liver and good for the joints,and as I have battled with stiff shoulders, back and neck I will see if I get a greater amount of flexibility.
I will tell you how it works, but so far I like it. I really wake up in the morning as it is quite strong. I don’t think I smell of garlic as the breakfast is taken after. It seems to help the digestion too.
- Half a jar of honey
- 4 pieces of garlic cloves
- a piece of peeled fresh ginger
- one or two teaspoons of cinnamon ( the genuine kind)
- one or two teaspoons of turmeric
- half a lemon with peel
All this you grind thoroughly with the blender and keep it in the fridge. One tablespoon of this every morning with the lemon juice before breakfast.
I also sometimes use a juice processor to get it even more smooth in consistence.

You could chose to take a little less garlic or only the peel of the lemon as the lemon is easy to take on its own

I have become addicted and I think that my flexibility in the joints have improved.
