My quote comes from the story of Jairus in the New Testament. He wanted help from Jesus to heal his daughter. She was very ill and died while Jesus was occupied in helping a woman who had suffered many years from incurable bleeding.

When Jesus heard that the girl had died he ignored the bad tidings and said to Jairus that he should not fear, but only believe.

I have sometimes been in very difficult situations where the outcome seemed obvious. This sentence has helped me immensely while waiting for a miracle.
