It’s Not This time Of The Year Without..
The Weekly photo Challenge from WordPress’ Daily Post. I like to keep traditions but also to make simple things. I have a bench in my kitchen where all the Christmas stuff is kept. I like to reuse what I have because it reminds me of my past.

A home-made wreath on my door

A bronze Christmas star in my small window

The Syrup cake ( my mother’s recipe)

Advent candles

I only do very simple things. But I need the original fir or spruce branches and a tree and some other called uniper a soft version. Thank you for your faithful commenting on my posts Clive

Your decorations and traditions are “simply” beautiful.

You make me so glad telling me that Bernadette. I have decorations from my childhood and like the green natural branches and lights in a dark month

I love your wreath Maria… You’ve challenged me. I’m going to try a home-made wreath this year… It’s been years since I did one.

It is not difficult. I reuse a circular shaped wreath made by straw and use thin metal thread to keep the leaves in place
