Copenhagen Town Hall Square
I saved a few photos for now regarding last week’s post on the new Metro Circle line in Copenhagen. Copenhagen Townhall Square is a special place for me as my grandparents met there in secrecy a hundred years ago. The Dragon Fountain still needs to be renovated to its former glory so I will wait to bring pictures of that part of the square.
After the inauguration of the new underground line last September, the town Hall Square is worth a visit again.

I know the subway makes travel more convenient, but doesn’t the new construction stand out like a sore thumb against the old architecture?

I think it’s quite discrete on the street level. But I agree with you that I love the classical way of building a lot more than the new style
