Fairfax Court House, Virginia
The last day of our trip to some of the Eastern states of the USA in July 2018. With our newly found family in Virginia, we visited the city of Fairfax Historic District.
During the Civil War, The County Courthouse changed hands between the Confederates and the Union forces. Memorial plates for those lost in wars from the Civil war to World War I and II, The Korean War and the Vietnam War.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, in accordance with Public Law 87–20, as amended, do hereby proclaim May 1, 2020, as Law Day, U.S.A. I urge all Americans, including government officials, to observe this day by reflecting upon the importance of the rule of law in our Nation and displaying the flag of the United States in support of this national observance; and I especially urge the legal profession, the press, and the radio, television, and media industries to promote and to participate in the observance of this day. I wonder why Americans emphasise pageantry and the flag so much. I think that some nations are quietly proud without having to tell everybody and other countries seem to need to tell everyone that they are.

By Law Day, I am thinking of the American Constitution, which is unique for giving the people rights. These rights like freedom of speech and the right to assemble have been infringed because of a virus threat. It seems to be the same everywhere. Who gave the orders to shelter down and social distance ourselves?
