Jelling, Home of the Kings
I recommend a free museum and areas open all year round outside, showing the testimonies of the Danish Viking kings from more than thousands of years ago. My husband Henry has an in-depth story about the site. After a long cold spring, we finally had a warm day with a clear blue sky. People gathered for lunch, ice cream or coffee at the historical site, and everything looked nearly normal.
The surrounding buildings are tenderly renovated or new buildings added in a style that matches the World Heritage site

Looks like a pretty walk in addition to the interesting history 🙂

It was indeed. We have been there many times but never in such a fine weather or renovated area
