The Beaches of Skagen
In the last part of the nineteenth century, the Danish Skagen painters got their inspiration from the light and the seas of Skagen, the most Northern part of Denmark.
On a windy and cloudy morning, I walked along the beaches where they found many of their motives.
From one Heart to Another 
Those windswept beaches are similar in many way to some of the beaches in Australia. But, Maria, what is that large device in photo number 3. I am intrigued.

I am sorry the texts are hiding behind the photos. It’s The old tilting beacon at Skagen coast from about 1825. The first one was built in the 1600s.
