In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Door.”

Looking at the blogs I follow inspired me to find pictures of doors I have seen during the last months. Thank you to Eclecticoddsnsods.

The first pictures are from a former Stately House Hindsgavl in a very beautiful place in Denmark. Hans Christian Anderson was here too.  I am here to attend to a classical music festival.

On a so-called London Walk – a guided tour in London, on the history of the Tube and underground this house had played a role in the start of the making of the underground. The style looks to me as Art Nouveau.

To see this place in the Lake District is like walking back into the time where Beatrix Potter lived there and right into her children tales.
