Due to a difficult time in my youth I battled a lot with fear and anxiety even after I became a Christian in my twenties. These words and similar promises from Isaiah 12:2-3 made me feel that I could look at my day with some confidence. After a day’s work as a student nurse I could see that I had survived the pressure.

Seeing these verses today again I realise that I have been kept save all these years and that I meet the day more positively.

I took the photo used for the badge for this theme on a domestic flight from Copenhagen to my home area three weeks ago.
