Live a Life as a Blessing
One of my blogger friends has recommended an online bible study called “Becoming More” than a bible study girl by Lisa Terkehurst. I have signed up and I am trying to find out how to get to the study as it was half way through. I am so sorry that I can’t remember who gave me the inspiration to this, so if you read this please tell me in the comments. We even had a nice chat about it.
In my email inbox I got some good info via small videos and today we were encouraged to believe that the small things matters in our every day life. So instead of striving to find our big calling we can choose to react on the small promptings inside and then little by little we will see the bigger pattern.
I have lived this way for many years and I always come out of a situation more blessed than I was before. Let me explain.
I do admit frankly that to give unconditional love to the closest person is more demanding.
If I meet someone who would like to have some information or support about baby care I would gladly give it. I get so encouraged if a young mother ask me for advice about her baby or wants me to pay her a visit. I would give what I have of knowledge into the situation and keep in touch if the mother would like that. Sometimes I get feedback on what exactly has helped from our conversation or what effect the advise had on the child’s eating or sleeping pattern or general development.

This way of “giving” can be understood and used in many ways. The Bible has many references to this like in Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another to love and helpful deeds and noble activities
It helps me to feel I am alive and useful. What do you do to keep yourself alive and active in this complex world?
