A great loss was the beginning of a wonderful love story and a life long gain.
My grandmother was an extraordinary woman with a force of personality. She never complained of the losses she had suffered.
We lost our liberty 75 years ago when the Nazis invaded Denmark. Only mainly young unknown ordinary people stood up to make resistance and saved a little of our lost honor.
