The only thing New York and Ribe had in common at the time of Jacob A. Riis was the high rate of child mortality due to bad housing, bad sanitation and serious infections. Jacob A. Riis became a pioneer in changing this in New York in his time more than a hundred years ago.
Retrospectivly I realise that before getting children you should work on your own character to be able to manage that enormous tast it is to bring up children successfully.
