My grandmother was an extraordinary woman with a force of personality. She never complained of the losses she had suffered.
We lost our liberty 75 years ago when the Nazis invaded Denmark. Only mainly young unknown ordinary people stood up to make resistance and saved a little of our lost honor.
Every one is unique. Even ordinary women ought to be remembered and honored.
When you can't afford to travel with your family you can invite tourists instead to your home and occasionally get friends for the rest of your life.
